Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply
with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy
policy govern Major Tonic’s relationship with you in relation to this website.
The terms “Major Tonic", or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website. The term ‘you’ refers to
the user or viewer of our website.
The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:
• The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject
to change without notice.
• Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness,
performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this
website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may
contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors

Membership terms and conditions
Code of conduct
1. Major Tonic aims to create a safe and positive environment for all its members, where all
members are able to obtain the most from their participation in our events. In order to do this, we
must ensure acceptable standards of behaviour from our members.
2. All members should be punctual to rehearsals and adhere to times and guidelines set by Major
Tonic
3. All members should respond to the leadership of the musical director and official or volunteer
staff members.
4. Members should be co-operative with both staff, volunteers and fellow members, and uphold an
equal-opportunity environment. Any negative behaviour towards others, the musical director or to
the rehearsal and performance environment will lead to cancellation of membership. In this case,
membership payment will not be refunded.
5. Members should understand clearly that Major Tonic cannot be held financially responsible for
damage caused by misconduct.
Membership
1. Major Tonic reserves the right to refuse admission of any member who does not fulfil the
requirements or who is deemed to be joining Major Tonic to abuse their membership to access the
intellectual property or brand owned by Aquawebb Ltd, trading as Major Tonic.
2. Major Tonic will provide a suitable number of rehearsals in the lead up to each event so that the
choir may be properly and professionally prepared to take part in that event.
3. Costs for participation may vary according to the nature of the event. Costs will be made clear
for each event. By signing up to the event you are committing to pay the full subscriptions for the
event. Members accept the subscriptions conditions as outlined in the SUBSCRIPTION document.
5. In making an application, members are assumed to be medically fit to undertake the vocal and
physical demands of participation in Major Tonic events. If an individual has any doubts, these
should be indicated to Major Tonic prior to their application.
6. Major Tonic reserves the right to photograph, sound record, video any production of all the
members (complying fully with child safety laws etc) and used for advertising and marketing
purposes in relation to Major Tonic for our own promotional use.
7. Major Tonic reserves the right to alter the schedule of rehearsals to fit in with performances and
other events that may be taking place.

8. In the event of cancellation due to bad weather (snow for example) or pandemic, we regret that
no refunds can be given. Major Tonic however will make every effort to open the venue or provide
alternative ways of rehearsing/performing. For instance online.
9. Membership of our Facebook and Twitter group(s) and website Members‘ area is dependant on
an active full membership Membership. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate members who have cancelled or suspended their membership.
9A. The administrators of Major Tonic reserve the right to remove any inappropriate remarks.
comments, photos and videos that may compromise its intellectual property and the feelings and
privacy of its members. Major Tonic reserves the right to block a member from any social media
platform without warning if inappropriate remarks are made.
10. The WhatsApp “Major Tonic Waterloo” group is available to sign-up to on a request to the Administrator by full paid-up active members only. Removal from this group is at the discretion of the Administrator. A former WhatsApp “Major Tonic Choir” group is no longer connected to Major Tonic and Major Tonic accepts no liability or responsibility for its upkeep or content.
11. Membership gives access to our Members‘ area where updates are made about rehearsals etc.
Teaching tracks and learning material are available only by email and WhatsApp. Members undertake not to share this material beyond the choir.
12. There is an upper limit of 30 members for the choir.
13. Aquawebb Ltd reserves the right to close down Major Tonic and its activities including choirs
with no liability to members without notice. The sessions will continue as scheduled until the end of
the term in process.
15. Singers joining the choir, after the music has been prepared by the existing active choir, can participate in any future concerts at the discretion of the Musical Director by being assessed by the learning achieved.
Health and safety
1. Major Tonic is not responsible for damage to person or personal belongings whilst attending
rehearsals and performances and social events or before and after rehearsals and performances.
2. Major Tonic members are responsible for their own property and well-being whilst attending all
rehearsals and performances.
3. Travel arrangements are to be made by each member to rehearsals and performances.
4. Choir members will keep themselves updated about the relevant Covid-19 Safe advice from
government and the risk assessments for any face-to-face rehearsals or performances for venues we
use. Attendance at any live sessions are entirely the decision of choir members with no liability for
this from Aquawebb Ltd.
Data protection
Personal and private information held by Major Tonic will not be passed to external bodies or
organisations unless agreed by each member. Members will be contacted by post and/or email by

Major Tonic only in any other circumstances. We do not pass information to third parties for
marketing purposes or sell personal data to other organisations. We endeavour to ensure that all
member’s personal data is kept secure at all times in line with our privacy policy. Major Tonic
respects the information we hold on you and that we take the security of your information very
seriously in accordance with GDPR.
We have a Privacy Policy which gives you more information on the data we hold on you, what we
do with that data, who we share your data with and your rights under GDPR. A copy of Major
Tonic’s Privacy and Cookies Policy is available on request.
OUR RIGHTS
We reserve the right to amend the Major Tonic Choir calendar and/or the price of membership and
services without notice.
